Meet the Innkeepers

Hi! We're Ginny Aguilar and Lori Lamprecht and along with the rest of the CSI family, we are excited to welcome you to our B&B Inn!

Married for over 40 years, we stumbled upon the property in 2017. We immediately fell in love and decided to purchase the home for our retirement. We deal with the Arizona heat several months during the year, so we split our time between the "dry heat" and the cool shores of Searsport.

Our Inn Family also includes Kristie and Becca Hamlin and their Beagle, Copper; Bill Pratt; and Charley Ulmschneider of Belfast CNC.

We invite you to join us on your next visit to the East Coast and experience the peace, serenity and hospitality Captain Sweeter's has to offer.

Back in Time

Captain Jeremiah Sweetser III was born Jan. 21, 1827, to Jeremiah II and Sarah Park. And although his family's roots are strong in Searsport, written information on the marine merchant is limited.

Some of the things we do know:

On April 18, 1850, Sweetser married Susan Locke French (born March 13, 1831) and together they had four children: Frederick Ross (1853–1924), Hattie French (1857–1858), Jane French (1859–1939) and Albert Ferguson (1861–1944).

Sweetser captained several vessels during his service including the Brig Baltic, Schooner Ranger, Schooner Traveller, Schooner Marcia Tribou, Bark Fanny Buck, Schooner Avon, Brig A.I. Ross and Ship Mary Goodell.

He died April 21, 1877.
